Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Richard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the north. Through the years after Gomory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gomory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Gerard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Cartwright business at a young age. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
