Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

His moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is content

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. Chad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Chad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Healer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Doctor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
