Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears an entirely tan suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is cut short. His green eyes peer out from beneath his top tan hat.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. His hair is brown and very short. He has hazel eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arnold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. He keeps his long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: John was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bookbinder responsibilities is difficult; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of a Brewer, who enjoyed hunting, Thomas was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sailor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
