Personality: Ralf is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Ralf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dustin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Percival's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is dressed in earthy colors with a white and brown handkerchief worn on his left side, and is pretty ugly. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aldous does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and many giants want him driven away
