History: Born to a Architect, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Alex was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Gifted from a young age, Diggory studied abroad. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Manfred speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
