During his travels, Arnold and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arnold discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arnold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Baker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Baker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Baker like his father before him.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and doesn't want to be a detective and was forced into it by his family

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a black shirt, with a grey mid length shorts with grey tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His hair is brown and curly. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. After coming to the age of reason, Bernard took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is content

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Masseuse.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new masseuse responsibilities is difficult
