Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
