History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Assassin job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bertram never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
