History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Dean embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Wymar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.
