He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He struck the Cook job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He tends to his Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
