History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Theobald's homeland. Theobald decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He now owns his own business.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in the west to a Knight, Percival learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Theobald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants.
