On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. During his travels, Theodoric and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theodoric discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theodoric fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
