He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Herbalist who has hired him part-time. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in the north to a Herbalist, Roger learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Seamstress, but he got bored and became a Herbalist. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nicholas does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

History: He got into the Soapmaker business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to find somewhere to settle down
