History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: This malnourished man wears a brown collared shirt and pastel pants. He accessorizes with a grey scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Jocelyn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He got into the Bowyer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
