History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy silver stubble. He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He has a hunchback. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Nicholas took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Henry was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and regain custody of his son

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears tattered old clothes. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Henry embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Henry reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He struck the Priest job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to share knowledge with the world
