History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He became a Locksmith soon after.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and many illithids want him driven away
