History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Actor and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

History: He got into the Sage business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
