History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He prefers to wear grey clothing when he does not wear armor. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Farmer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Farmer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Farmer responsibilities is difficult; and wants to raise his children well
