He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Dean Shelby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a grey costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Dean is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Dean was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
Ideals: Philantrophist, Justice. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Poor, Adventurer. Occupation: Locksmith
Voice: Boston accent

Wymar Hamilton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Standing 5'1", this man wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His hair is blonde and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Wymar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now mingles about in high society.
