History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Anselm was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and retire the richest man in the east

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Gilbert was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gilbert's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
