Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Junk Dealer. He now owns his own business.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for him, and Miles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. His eyes are amber.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Manfred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To protect his home; and wants to work out more often

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He prefers to wear pastel pants and tee shirts. His golden hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. A true patriot, Clerebold would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Clerebold hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Gardener for hire.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This exceptionally lanky man usually wears his white robe and has his nunchaku always slung over his shoulder. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Balimaar was born with his father's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
