Description: He is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a longbow on his belt. He has a hunchback. His hair is brown and very short. He is baby faced.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gunter was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Peter grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and wants to work out more often

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His auburn hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a doctor and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears tan painted combat armor at almost all times. He carries with him a set of bastard swords on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. William fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Conrad has worked very hard to control his curse. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
