History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Detective.

Motivation: To protect his home; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'3". He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, and his gloved hand is found clutching a whip. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his youth he was a Interpreter, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and he is greedy

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 31. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
