Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Geoffrey hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Geoffrey's homeland. Geoffrey decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Thomas was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Solomon's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He carries a battered longbow and tarnished longsword as well. His white hair is heavily combed to the right. He has brown eyes and a white hat with a black feather.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Hugh will drive conversation. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
