History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Gunter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Scribe arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
