Patrick Hamilton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He very much looks the part of a Sage. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Patrick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
Ideals: Athletic, Justice. Flaws: Addict. Bonds: Job, Mentor. Occupation: Sage
Voice: Hissing voice

Charles Enfield, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Jeweler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.
Flaws: Ugly, Mundane, Antagonistic, Disease. Bonds: Poor. Occupation: Jeweler

John Gracey, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He prefers to wear red pants and tee shirts. He carries with him a set of swords, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
Ideals: Fighting, Opinionated, Extrovert. Bonds: Attractive, Rich. Occupation: Stableman

Everard Ansley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears a fancy grey suit. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: Revenge; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
Ideals: Justice. Flaws: Mundane. Bonds: Attractive, Family, Job, Enemies. Occupation: Cartwright
