History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in falchion use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
