Personality: Lewis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lewis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Conrad has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
