History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He got into the Guard business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has worked as a Guard like his father before him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born in the east to a Courier, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Courier. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his left hand. His silver hair is cut short. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sage and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his brother

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
