When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

Lance Asheton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with tan slacks, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. His blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shortspear and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.
