Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He bought a flail and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and many orcs want him driven away

History: He got into the Animal Trainer business at a young age. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Thomas and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and many gnolls want him driven away
