History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Hunter hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
