His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Courier arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Courier job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Heward embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Apothecary born in the past three hundred years. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his dancing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He tends to his Apothecary job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
