History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Spice Merchant. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Herbalist but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and likes to wear yellow tank tops with grey pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Bertram was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bertram's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.
