History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born to a Seamstress, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Chad is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Chad hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Chad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
