He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Ralf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.
