History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and further expansion of business

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. After a long history of fighting, Chad and his spouse have recently divorced.
