Personality: He is a Fletcher first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gerard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gerard was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is greedy

The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
