Jocelyn Yardley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his shortbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has shaved his head bald. His ears are large.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many dire rats want him driven away
Flaws: Ugly, Shy, Disease. Bonds: Enemies, Nature. Occupation: Sailor

Thomas Trowbridge, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This dark-skinned male wears long strands of jet and short grey dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady green eyes.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Thomas abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains.
