History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Randal's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Stableman for the past few years.
