History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Nicholas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure.
