History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Randal never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
