Frederick Astley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'1" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He usually wears his black robe and has his whip always slung over his shoulder. His black hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Frederick took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
Ideals: Passionate, Gifted. Flaws: Insane. Bonds: In love, Religious. Occupation: Slave Trader

Thomas Clapham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears a violet small hat and violet clothes, marred by chocolates. His auburn hair is still thick. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
