Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Ernest is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a tailor and was forced into it by his family

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Servant, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and balancing his hectic life and new body guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. Bernard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has worked as a Gardener like his mother before him.
