One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Gunter wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Gunter was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bellfounder. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
