History: Born in the west to a Sculptor, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. He keeps his long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: He was born in the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Mayor born in the past three hundred years. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and doesn't want to be a mayor and was forced into it by his family
