History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Miles enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in a small island village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Conrad was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Junk Dealer, but he got bored and became a Bowyer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bowyer for hire.
