Trym Deighton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a robe, a symbol of magic around his neck, and a shortspear on his belt. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Trym lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to reunite with his absent father

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate.
