History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Carter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Gerard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Gerard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Theodoric was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He has achieved small success as a Scribe.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
