History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born in a small island village. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He has a long brown beard with little hanging trinkets. His ears are large.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Chad will drive conversation. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge
